Charles Hilton is an LA based artist working in the animation industry as a visual development artist. Sometime during the pandemic he posted a short film he made using a combination of paintings and motion graphics. The film is very simple and short but effectively creates an interesting mood. The film is mainly abstract, but the simplicity of the animation makes it very appealing and approachable. This film inspired me to take a stab at learning some simple motion graphics myself to try and amplify the effects my paintings have on the viewer.
