Today I decided to start on the character design portion of my film. While the film is going to be partially first person I do want to design a character so the audience knows whose POV they’re in. For the purposes of this assignment I’m going to make it very stylized, as I think that will work well with the backgrounds. I haven’t completely committed in my mind to lineless or lined, but I’m going to do these designs lined, and they can be cleaned up for lineless later if I’m happy with them. I wanted to reflect my body type loosely and keep the character resembling me a little. I’m relatively happy with this look and next pass will be doing clothing & additional details.
