Bo Burnham released his Grammy & Emmy award winning special ‘Inside’ during the pandemic in Summer of 2021. His musings appealed to the masses who had largely been quarantining for about a year and a half at that point. The special took the form of many small segments that each had their own style and spin. Topics included online activities such as calling one’s mother on FaceTime, posting on Instagram, sexting, and video game streaming.

This type of layout appeals to me, I think for my short film I will consider doing something slightly episodic like this film piece. I feel like it’s  a reflection of pandemic brain but also  just the way I process information and artwork. Having a set of ‘scenes’ or gifs in different flavours set to music really appeals to me.
